RareX signs offtake MOU with Nitron for Stages 1-2 products
This release is about our newly signed offtake MOU with Nitron - one of the world's largest fertiliser trading companies.
Even though we are a Rare Earths project (and australia's largest undeveloped resource at that with 1.6Mt of contained TREO) we can get started by monetising the overburden as a direct application rock phosphate fertiliser. This offtake MOU speaks to that for 250ktpa. Also, Nitron have expressed interest in any of the mineral concentrate from the Stage 2 bene plant.
Our primary objective with the bene plant is a dual mineral concentrate of rare earths and phosphate. Nitron are interested in up to 250ktpa of the concentrate that is low in Rare Earths. This potentially opens up even more of the resource! We're grateful to have Nitron on board and working towards a binding offtake agreement.
