Rare Earths and Gallium - Australia's Strategic Reserve Announced

The Australian government has just announced details of its rare earths, gallium and antimony Strategic Reserve. Importantly, Cummins Range contains significant resources of rare earths and gallium.

Rare earths, gallium and antimony are among the most supply-constrained critical minerals globally, reflecting years of value-chain concentration. They are essential inputs for a rapidly evolving, high-technology world, spanning advanced manufacturing, telecommunications and defence applications. The Strategic Reserve is an important mechanism to accelerate Australia’s supply-chain positioning and support secure supply for key partners.

RareX has been focused on rare earths since inception, and our flagship Cummins Range Project hosts significant rare earth and gallium mineralisation and has recently been granted its Mining Licence. This positions Cummins Range, and RareX, directly within the scope of this new national initiative.

Additionally, the drilling programme at Khaleesi is targeting known gallium mineralisation and potentially rare earth mineralise carbonatite intrusions.
