Kenya High Commission, Canberra's post

This week, as posted on the Kenyan High Commission's media channels, RareX had the privilege of participating in a strategic roundtable convened by the Kenyan High Commission in Perth, where we were joined by our consortium partner Iluka Resources and some of our key proposal supporters including Ausenco, AMC Consultants, Curtin University, WSP, and Canaccord Genuity. Primero and Perenti passed on their credentials and vision for the project.

The session followed recent high-level engagements in Nairobi, where Kenya’s leadership reaffirmed a national ambition to deepen economic ties with Australia - especially in value-added mining and critical mineral development. Mrima Hill sits at the intersection of that ambition.

As lead proponent of the Mrima Hill Critical Minerals Project, RareX presented the consortium’s integrated vision: a responsibly developed, strategically aligned project that prioritises local training and skills transfer, environmental and community stewardship, and the establishment of secure, globally trusted critical mineral supply chains.

The High Commissioner, H.E. Dr Wilson Kogo, expressed his thanks for the proposal and the quality of its contributing institutions. We were honoured by his overwhelmingly positive feedback and grateful for his leadership in bringing the partners together.

As outlined in RareX’s recent ASX release, we’ve entered a formal consortium agreement with Iluka Resources. Together with our partners and strategic advisors, we are committed to helping deliver a generational opportunity - one that unlocks Kenya’s mineral potential in a way that’s technically sound, geopolitically aligned, and locally grounded.
